Written by Christine Kammerer and performed by Gjaldulei.
A blessing of the light that returns after a long, dark winter. A calling on the sun to once more bring warmth and life to our lands. Written with a lyre tuned in the Dorian scale.
lyrics
Lyset vågner i dalen
Vætten danser i hellige lund
Fører sig frem over land
Springer rask i bækken rundt
Stæren bygger sin rede
Frejfaksen springer lystigt rundt
Aksen snart vågner af kulde
Strækkes mod dine klare stråler op

It is different than previous releases, nonetheless it is astonishing and beautiful homage to nature. One reproach, like both previous albums this one too flown by so quickly. Do yourself a favor and listen to this music in forest you like to visit. Hedensk Hjerte
This is "experimental dark folk". A genre of its own. The Tagelharpa distortion in Cauterize is overwhelmingly awesome. Though I very much like the "Harpa heavy" way they went later on, I enjoy to hear this album and the industrial influenced songs. The high energy of "The march of the stones" is a worthy theme for a landslide. Krowoff
Lush, moody folk-derived music sure to appeal to metal fans, the latest from Wolcensmen is awash in gorgeous keys & mournful melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2020
